Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Scope
These terms of use apply to the use of the ZertifikatsFuchs platform (levels A1–C2) for learning German and preparing for the Goethe-Zertifikat and telc exams. By creating an account or using the site, you accept these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
2. Description of the Service
ZertifikatsFuchs offers grammar topics, vocabulary, reading and listening texts, exam simulations and speaking practice. Selected content from level A1 (a taster) is free. The rest of A1 and the content of levels A2–C2 are part of the paid Pro membership.
ZertifikatsFuchs is an independent learning platform with no connection to the Goethe-Institut or telc GmbH. The exam simulations are modelled closely on the official format of these exams, but they are not official exam material and are no guarantee of passing the exam.
3. Membership and Account
- A valid email address and a secure password are required to open an account.
- Users are responsible for keeping their account details confidential.
- Accounts are personal; they may not be shared with or transferred to anyone else.
- You can have your account deleted at any time; your learning progress and personal data are then removed as well (see Privacy Policy).
4. Pro Membership and Payment
The paid Pro membership unlocks all levels, exam simulations and speaking practice. The payment system for Pro membership is currently being set up and is not active yet — you can join the waiting list on the Pro page. When payments go live, up-to-date pricing, invoicing and cancellation terms in line with Turkish consumer law on distance contracts and the sale of digital content (Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the related regulations) will be published separately on this page. A Pro subscription will be cancellable at any time until the end of the current billing period.
As part of the launch offer, accounts that sign up during the campaign and verify their email address get free Pro access for 15 days from the moment of verification (limited places). No payment details are required; at the end of this period the account automatically returns to the free membership and no fee is charged. We reserve the right to end the campaign without prior notice; trial periods that have already started are not affected.
5. Use of the Content
All texts, exercises, audio and images on ZertifikatsFuchs are protected by copyright. You may use this content only for your own personal learning. Copying the content, sharing it with others or using it for commercial purposes is prohibited without our prior written permission.
6. User Obligations
When using ZertifikatsFuchs, you agree:
- to provide correct information when signing up,
- not to overload the platform with automated access (bots, scraping, etc.),
- not to try to bypass or alter the site's security mechanisms.
7. Limitation of Liability
We prepare our content with the greatest possible care, but we cannot guarantee that you will pass a Goethe or telc exam — learning success depends on many personal factors. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
8. Changes to the Service and Interruptions
We try to keep ZertifikatsFuchs available at all times, but we cannot guarantee that there will be no interruptions, for example due to maintenance. We reserve the right to develop the content, features and these terms of use over time; we will inform you of important changes in good time.
9. Closing the Account
In the event of serious or repeated violations of these terms of use, we reserve the right to suspend or delete your account.
10. Dispute Resolution
The laws of the Republic of Turkey apply to any disputes arising from these terms; for disputes arising from consumer transactions, the relevant consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts have jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the validity of the other provisions is not affected.
11. Contact
